Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (long coat) Cat

Valentina the Cat needs a home

Hi, my name is Valentina!  I’m an older lady who was found living on the streets just this year.  The staff guesses that I’m about 13 years old, but I’ve never been good at keeping track of time.  A nice lady had been feeding me for a couple of months, but she already had several cats, so she brought me here so I could be warm, and find a nice home.  I had a lot of mats in my fur, so they had to shave me when I came in.  I really wasn’t impressed with that.  But I have to admit, I feel a lot better, not so itchy any more.  My mouth has hurt for a long time, and here they tell me I have bad teeth.  They did one dental, but I’m going to need a second one in a couple months to fix the rest of my mouth.  Everyone here is really nice, they give me all sorts of food and attention.  They checked my blood before doing my dental, and they say I have early kidney disease.  I don’t know how you humans figure such things out.  But I’m telling you that my kidney’s feel fine.  I will need to eat a special diet, and someday I may need more treatments to support my kidney’s, but I plan to live for a long time yet.  Come in and meet me today, I would love to come home with you!
